The Georgian designer Lela Eloshvili made her big hit in the runways in Los Angeles. Her unique silhouettes are a strong mix of classic and contemporary. From strong lines and heavier fabrics, showcasing a sexy as well as strong woman to more rounded, delicate silhouettes with a romantic vibe yet still sexy approach to he designs made to a very especial show.
Eloshvili gorgeous designs are super interesting and full of history with lots of culture. The runway live background video featured images of wine making, very much truth to her Georgian heritage. Thus, her garments were influenced by Chokha a very traditional Georgian design. The designer did her own prints using grapes to some of her pieces as well as alphabet letter from her country to other garments. Lela Eloshvili also featured shoes and accessories from her exclusive SS18 line.
Strinking coloros used by the designer, definitely don’t say spring as black, and more cold tones hit the runway. But again, she doesn’t follow rules of the season, we can see that her clothes are for the strong, confident woman. Romantic and modern are a refreshing take on this show. It is very original and playful. Minimalistic and straight lines are seeing throughout the show and the stylish clothes can be cater for all ages. With great talent and eye-catching approach to the press and public, Lela Eloshvili designs had featured many big fashion magazines and websites such as, WWD (Women’s Wear Daily) and many others.
Here, wearing one of Eloshvili designs exclusively from her SS18 collection. Beautiful red, sleeveless jacket/cape. Super soft cotton, with details of rounded buttons and “V” type neckline. Such a modern and “flowy” piece to wear as her guest for her Los Angeles Fashion Week debut.
To really showcase the amazing piece, I have paired the look with a black, velvet jumpsuit and black pumps, as well as Lela Eloshvili gorgeous handmade gold metal, wine grapes oversized earrings.

I have been to many Fashion Weeks in different parts of the world. But, I always get overly excited to be in New York City, because there is so much to do and to see. This could easily be on the “Travel” section of this blog but, no worries, I will do an exclusive travel “all things” NYC edition. This time around, I certainly fell in love with vintage pieces mixed with the “newest” trends that are on right now and got my on take and style evolving to something unique. I like to be “on trend” but, I also like to look different and to stand out.
When we spotted the Central Cafe and I will say it, I really wanted to go there because I loved the scene from the movie “Friends with Benefit”, with Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake. Also, this place is so iconic in New York, close to the epic Grand Central Station which is very beautiful. So, I have to get a picture there. I thought it was so European looking, old and classic and I wanted to pull of the French girl look. I added the Ralph Lauren hat to the brown, vintage, velvet mini dress and with the fishnet tights was the perfect combo. And, as a finish touch the plastic, hard shell vintage bag. Not hard to keep a cool vibe if it’s not overdone.
The same look here, but now mixed with ultra-modern Melissa jelly boots. As detail, my dad’s vintage pocket watch. This location is unbelievable, the New York Library. Those doors, are so magnificent, full of details. The mini-dress is so unique, first I thought it could only be worn at night, but after alterations of shoes and accessories it turned out to be a classy daytime dress.
On the anniversary of September 11, I wanted to take a moment and find a place where I could see over the river from Brooklyn and contemplate Manhattan in all its glory. It is breathtaking. I wanted to wear something special for that day and chose this incredible vintage, white sequin, medium length dress. I paired with gorgeous burgundy velvet Aldo high heeled, strap sandals. No many accessories added because the dress itself was full of bling.
A closer look at the amazing work and pattern of the sequin in this dress. The only accessory used was a statement choker gold necklace with clear stones. Simple make up and a bright to medium red lip. A truly beautiful day spent photo shooting in Brooklyn at the Dumbo and Brooklyn Bridge. Appreciating how amazing and humble the people from New York are.
Sexy looks can be achieved with vintage pieces as well. Here, I have paired vintage burgundy velvet pants and leather booties to a sheer black lace dress. A gold cord necklace adds a little weight to the delicacy of the lace and balances the pants and boots. I usually love to use heavier and lighter fabrics to my looks.
Trying to be a modern princess? I am so into old rock band t-shirts at the moment! And, why not to bring something we would wear only at day time, with ragged denim shorts or pants, to the night time and look glamourous? That is what I am talking about. I thought it was super appropriate to wear my Queens band t-shirt and pair it with a long royal blue, satin, full skirt. So perfect! I am so in love with my Brazilian Arezzo, strappy heels!!! They go with absolutely everything. Dior bag and that is all you need.
